Please think twice before using this florist for your wedding flowers. During our initial meeting, John, my mother and I discussed decorations for the church, and we were told that they themselves would take the flowers from the church to the reception venue. When I had my second meeting, that suddenly changed and he claimed he never said that. I thought maybe i misunderstood and overlooked this red flag, which ended up being a giant mistake.
Terrible service ...wedding ...on wedding day they were 2 hours late ....they brought wrong flowers ...they said it would be another 2 hours to get the correct ones ..which we only had less then an hour before the service..the brides maid had to go pick them up and just barely make it in time .. ...I paid 3 months in advance ..now the people are really nice the owner is really cool but totally unacceptable especially for an occasion like this ....they gave no refund...or even credit mayb for a valentines day bouquet.... Will never do business again with them...extremely disappointed...
The icing on the cake came on my wedding day. When the flowers were delivered to my house, two of my boutineers were missing, the father of the groom, and my brothers. I brought this to the delivery persons attention, she was more concerned about the check engine light that had just came on in her car, and she had no idea how to get to the church. The boutineers did end up getting delivered to the church separately. When I got to the reception and saw my center pieces, angry does not begin to describe my feelings. I was charged for 4 pumpkins per vase, there were only 3, some were rotted, and others John had cut to fit into the vase, after personally assuring me all the pumpkins he got were small enough to fit. They looked sloppy and poorly done. When we got them home the next day, the water smelled because the pumpkins had been cut open, and since they were shoved into vases that were to small, people had to cut the pumpkins up to remove them from the vases.
The last thing was the memory arrangements that were to be brought to the church. John and myself spoke about these, and he said that he would put them on the side of the altar, as if they were in the center, we would be blocking them and no one would see them. Well we got to church and they were nowhere to be found. They were brought to the reception, but I specifically wanted them at the church as they were there to honor my late grandmother and aunt, both of whom I was very close with.
This is the WORST florist I have EVER dealt with in my life. Ordered flowers with a 4 hour delivery and paid extra for it (ordered at 9:35am). Flowers were NOT delivered within the timeframe. At 4PM, they called the recipient (who literally lives around the corner) and they said they couldn't find the address. Then I got an email delivery confirmation at 5:00PM and the flowers were never delivered! They said that the flowers would be delivered first thing in the morning. At 10am, I was told that they would be delivered by end of day. IT IS DISGUSTING how these people run their business! I WOULD NEVER, NEVER recommend them!
Not nice at all
The center pieces I choose had pumpkins in a vase, I was told that John had a farm up the road he would call and see if he could get these pumpkins for me at a discount rate. He was supposed to call me later that week and the call never came. It was six months before the wedding so i let it go. Then two weeks before the wedding, I had no answer about pumpkins. What size I needed, if he could get them for me, and if so at what price. I called his shop daily to try to get answers, and was always told I'll call you back tomorrow. Again the call never came. I never got an answer until the Saturday before my wedding when my husband and I went to the shop to dropp off our final payment.
I know of Country Florist from seeing their beautiful flowers on a lot of weddings so I called them when I needed flowers quick for a wake service that same day. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone. Even knew off hand the exact color scheme the family had ordered for funeral flowers. After she told me her ideas to coordinate but be different, I decided to leave the arrangement to their professional judgement. I was very pleased to see the flowers that evening at the wake. They did an amazing job and the family thought they were beautiful as well : )
On a positive note, I will say my unity candle centerpiece, and bouquet were beautiful, however thats all I can say.
