I took my son's pants to chaybans on transit and will never go back, they not only lost them but forgot about them because they know some people that bring their clothes in...they offered to do them quick but I got them done for exactly $13 less at vara's and received text messages the whole time for any questions I had or for how much it would be. Thank you very much vara's cleaners! I will be keeping you in mind for all my tailoring and cleaning!
I recently switched to this dry cleaners as it was closer to my new employer. I am going to be honest I'm a picky customer. Within the third time of picking up some clothing @ varas I sent a pair of dress pants back as the hem did not fit my standards. The sewing machine had pinched in a few areas made very noticeable as the thread did not match the pant color at all. They came back fixed. I then informed the girl behind the count on the next pick up of clothes that on my white sweated there were multiple black hairs inside the plastic, which matched hers. I did pay for the item, just gave her a heads up. She notified me that they had rollers for sale (you know the sticky one to get fuzzy off of clothing). I purchase this $50.00 t shirt that did have a sheer lace design. Did not at all wash it, automatically took it to the dry cleaners. I didn't know until I got it home that the lace had started to fray. Next time a took it for a cleaning I notified the girl behind the counter that I would like it noted to be careful on that piece of clothing. When I came back in to pick up the item, before leaving I pulled the t shirt out to see if MORE damage had been done. I then informed the girl behind the count (with the dark hair) what was happening with my item. With attitude the employee came back at me stating " her and the owner had discussed my business and if I am that unhappy with the service I am receiving (because I keep sending items back) that I should prob look for another dry cleaners. She then continued to state, I should have looked at the material on the shirt before I bought it as there was no way that damage couldn’t have been done to the t shirt. (I work where I purchased this t shirt other employees have wash the t shirt themselves without causing damage). I thought dry cleaners were for item that required delicate cleaning if varas can't take care of a t shirt with lace what can they clean. After this I do remember a lot of men’s dress shirts, but not a lot of other items. Maybe that’s what their good at, they should probably stick to that. I will be reporting them to the BB Bauer for the way I was treated because the girl behind the register had some other choice word I wont be repeating, not that I didn’t respond rudely.
