I went here on a Monday morning at about 8:45am. I had a great experience at this location! I don't think the people who have to deal with crappy situations all day get as much credit as they deserve. That being said, my situation was pretty straightforward. I just needed to get my last name changed. There were about 10 people waiting in line outside the door before 9am. I thought this would take me hours. I got called up within 20 min of check-in. The lady who helped me was just being yelled at by someone who couldn't get something approved, so I was assuming she wouldn't be too happy. I was wrong. She was very pleasant, helpful, and made the experience amazing. Some of my friends went to the downtown location to change their name and they had to wait for hours. This did not happen at this location. I am grateful for how smooth my issue was handled and I know that every situation is different. I just wouldn't assume that you are going to have a bad experience based on these other reviews with no details. I think it was likely due to something that is not the responsibility of this office. That was my impression of some of the other angry people that were here when I went. Employees are great in-person! I didn't try to call so I cannot speak on that.
You can never get ahold of anyone. You can call and the robot leads you on a circular path not pertaining to one thing you've called about then says no one is available and then hangs up on you. That's three different calls. I emailed seeking my Medicare card and have received no reply. You take the Medicare contribution from my social security yet I have no card in order to access my benefits. Brutal service or should I say no service. This comment will probably go nowhere and not get my Medicare card anyway.
