I had an excellent experience here today. Three toddlers fitted with perfect shoes based on their specific needs. The gentleman who fitted us was kind, thoughtful but most of all very experienced. I know my toddlers are learning to walk and run in quality shoes that fit well. Will definitely shop here again!
An embarrassment of a retail experience. The owner, older male, has the personality of a piece of white bread. He never sized our daughter. He simply looked at her foot. Looked at the current shoe was wearing and told us to get a size 7. We completely disagreed and he said "this is my store. I think I know." Sure enough. Our daughter wore her new Phibians, the first day the skin wore off of the instep of her left foot. We went to return them, and the same guy told me "I can give you half price since you did the "Buy 1 Get 1 Half Off" sale. In any other retail store, they refund based on the total price of the sale, and THEY USE MATH to determine the value based on the difference in price. I've never seen a place say "you only get half back because you took part in a BOGO half-off" promotion. The owner was relentlessly rude saying "well great. Shope there then. This is my store." I then went and returned the other pair we bought with them. His horrendous attitude, unwillingness to listen and do basic customer service cost his store $50. We want to support local businesses. But if it means supporting someone who is completely arrogant, disrespectful and inept, I'll go save money and get the shoes from a national retailer. ALSO: there is not posted retina policy anywhere to be found.
I love this store because of the excellent customer service. They take time to make sure you are satisfied. I wish there were more small shops like this. It makes me feel good to spend my money at a small locally owned business. My kids prefer coming here because of the friendly staff and play area. My little one can play while the older ones try on shoes. Great place!
Great service with experienced people. I travel from Amherst to come and buy shoes for my kids.
